West Shore RCMP are looking for 15-year-old Lia Barker, who has been out of contact with her family for over a week.
“While this is not very unusual, police and family are concerned and wish to ensure her well-being,” police said in a statement.
Lia was last seen June 30 in downtown Victoria, but there is a strong chance she has made her way to Surrey.
She is described as white, five-foot-eight and 119 pounds with brown, shoulder-length hair and blue eyes.
