Two youths were arrested Sunday night after the sound of “rapid gunfire” from a playground was reported to Victoria police.
Police responded to the Central Middle School grounds about 8:30 p.m. and arrested two youths with airsoft pistols — replica firearms that shoot plastic pellets.
They were released into the care of their parents.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
