B.C. Transit says it is supporting the police investigation after a collision involving a bus and cyclist.
The incident happened about 5 p.m. Thursday at Gorge Road East and Bridge Street. The person's injuries were initially considered life threatening but police later said they were non-life threatening.
“Our thoughts are with everyone involved in the incident — the cyclist, our transit operator and anyone who may have witnessed the incident,” B.C. Transit said in a statement.
Transit said it is also conducting an internal investigation.
Since this is an active case, B.C. Transit said any other information should come from Victoria police.
Police had no update Friday.
