Drug dealer calls police after being robbed

A suspected drug dealer called West Shore RCMP to report he had been bear-sprayed and robbed by two males who took cash and the Xanax pills he was allegedly selling.

The arrest of the 30-year-old man May 10 followed a search carried out by the West Shore RCMP’s Crime Reduction Unit at a residential Langford property on Moyes Road, near Treanor Avenue.

A suspected drug dealer called West Shore RCMP to report he had been bear-sprayed and robbed by two males who took cash and the Xanax pills he was allegedly selling.

The 18-year-old victim said he was near the bus loop at the Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre when he was jumped.

Police located 15- and 19-year-old suspects a short time later after they were alleged to have used the stolen money to buy liquor. Xanax, bear spray and liquor were seized.
