Motorists travelling Keating Cross Road and the Patricia Bay Highway can expect to see evening lane closures from June 8 to 15 as crews perform geotechnical work in advance of the upcoming flyover project.
Field crews will be drilling holes and analyzing soil samples between Tanner and Island View roads to better understand the subsurface ground conditions ahead of construction.
To facilitate the geotechnical work, lane closures will take place on Highway 17 from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. between June 8 to 15.
Southbound lane closures will occur from June 8 to 10. Northbound lane closures will occur from June 10 to 15.
Work will take place on the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure right of way on Highway 17.
Drivers are asked to use caution and obey the instruction of traffic control personnel.
