One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on the Trans-Canada Highway at Kilmalu Road Thursday afternoon, said Mill May Fire Chief Ron Beck.
He said the collision involved a van and a compact car.
It happened about 3:30 p.m. and led to a northbound lane closure during Thursday afternoon’s rush hour. A detour was set up via Kilmalu Road, then to Telegraph Road and Fisher Road.
The estimated time of reopening from Drive B.C. was 11 p.m. Thursday.
