B.C. should vote on Enbridge pipeline

I see our province is about to make its largest mistake ever by having anything to do with pipelines running through British Columbia, one of the most sensitive of the western provinces. B.C. has the most to lose should something go wrong.

I see our province is about to make its largest mistake ever by having anything to do with pipelines running through British Columbia, one of the most sensitive of the western provinces.

B.C. has the most to lose should something go wrong. A few million dollars will not repair the damage caused by a leak, even a small one.

There are other hazards to this pipeline, such as the destabilization of the land it would be crossing and opening remote areas to poachers.

Should the federal government shove this pipeline down our throats for, as they say, the betterment of Canada in world markets, there should be a concern for British Columbians.

Yes, building a pipeline will provide employment for those who work on the project. Then again, jobs will be limited - who will get them?

Why not create employment and keep it here. Build three environmentally friendly refineries, lead the way in new innovations and developments and keep more of our money here.

As for Alberta taking a larger portion of the pie, who is at the most risk here?

I think our premier saying she wants more money before asking the general public was out of line. Should money be the deciding factor over our natural, beautiful British Columbia?

We British Columbians live here and should be the deciding factor by voting on it.
