Don't reproach Clark for declaring her faith

I applaud Christy Clark for the statement she made that the Bible gives her the courage to make "tough" decisions as our premier. She is not saying that she looks for answers in the Bible to the question facing her, as columnist Iain Hunter seems to imply, but it is her Christian faith which gives her the strength for her tasks.

Being a Christian doesn't mean you have the right solution to every problem you face in a modern world. But you try to do what is best for your neighbour as you would do for yourself, and trust it will turn out in the best way.

Instead of reproaching Clark for declaring her faith, we should have her in our prayers that she will be strengthened day by day for the monumental tasks she faces.
