Campbell River RCMP are asking for the public’s help finding a man who is wanted on allegations of assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon.
Police said Ray Sharkey, 39, is considered armed and dangerous. Members of the public should not take any action to apprehend him.
He is wanted on an unendorsed warrant. That means the warrant has not been signed by a justice of the peace, indicating to police that the person arrested should be held to appear in court.
Starkey is described as Indigenous, five-foot-1o and about 175 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Police ask anyone with information about Sharkey’s location to call the Campbell River RCMP at 250-286-6221 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
