Cocaine, fentanyl found in search of suspected Langford drug-trafficking house

About 583 grams of cocaine, 95 grams of fentanyl and 111 grams of methamphetamine were found in the search

A large amount of drugs as well as weapons and cash were seized from a Langford residence where drug trafficking was believed to be taking place, West Shore RCMP says.

A search warrant was executed Oct. 11 at the home as part of an investigation led by the Bike Patrol Unit.

About 583 grams of suspected cocaine, 95 grams of suspected fentanyl and 111 grams of suspected methamphetamine were found, along with ketamine, MDMA, and hydromorphone and methadone pills.

Drug-trafficking items like scales and small bags were also located, as was $1,500 in cash.

Also seized were three conducted-energy weapons, including numerous cartridges, and a pair of nun-chucks — both of which are prohibited in Canada.

The investigation and is ongoing and a report will be submitted to Crown for consideration of criminal charges, police said.
