Ferries to southern Gulf Islands back in service

After issues with finding enough people for a full crew, B.C. Ferries service from Swartz Bay to the southern Gulf Islands resumed at 8:20 a.m. with a sailing to Pender Island.

A sailing to Saturna Island was set to follow 9:10 a.m.

Both ferries will be operating about 40 minutes behind schedule, B.C. Ferries said, adding: “We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced.”
