West Shore RCMP is asking for help finding Hooper.
The 34-year-old Langford man was last seen by a friend around 7 p.m. on Aug. 2 in downtown Victoria. His family and friends have not heard from him since.
His family said his tent was missing and he does like to camp. He also hangs out in various areas throughout Greater Victoria.
Hooper needs medication on a regular basis and does not have it with him.
“We are really hoping the public can assist us in locating Mr. Hooper. Our investigators are continuing their efforts but to date we have not been able to locate him,” said Cpl. Kathy Rochlitz.
Hooper is five foot six, about 150 pounds, with short dark brown hair.
