Police: 16-year-old missing since Monday has been found

The teen, who was last seen about 7 p.m. Monday in the area of the Galloping Goose Trail, near Victoria General Hospital, has been found

UPDATE: West Shore RCMP say the missing 16-year-old girl has been found.

West Shore RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find a 16-year-old girl reported missing on Monday, saying they’re very concerned for her well-being.

She was last seen about 7 p.m. Monday in the area of the Galloping Goose Trail, near Victoria General Hospital.

She is described as five-foot-six and 120 pounds with dark-brown hair and brown eyes, and was wearing a black jacket, black pants and black boots.

Police say they have followed up on several leads but haven’t been able to locate her.

Anyone who has information on her whereabouts is asked to call West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264 or their local police, or report anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
