A Victoria man was arrested last week after police entered his home on a drug search warrant and seized nearly half a kilogram of marijuana and a muscle car.
The home in the 400 block of Catherine Street in Vic West was searched Friday evening by the Victoria police focused enforcement team.
They seized the marijuana, worth an estimated $2,500 on the street, a small amount of hash and a 2013 Ford Mustang GT.
The police are pursuing options for forfeiture of the vehicle.
A 50-year-old Victoria man faces charges of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 18.
