Heavy rain has led to a mix of stormwater and sewage overflowing along the shoreline extending from Tarn Place in Oak Bay to Seaview Road in Saanich.
People are advised to keep away from the water in this area.
The Capital Regional District has posted public-health advisory signs that are expected to remain until bacteria levels have dropped.
