SUV, garbage truck collide on Cook Street in Victoria

Traffic was temporarily closed north of Cook Street Village after a collision involving an SUV and a garbage truck. The crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. at the corner of Cook and Collinson streets.

Traffic was temporarily closed north of Cook Street Village after a collision involving an SUV and a garbage truck.

The crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. at the corner of Cook and Collinson streets.

Victoria police said the black SUV was driving northbound on Cook Street when the Alpine garbage truck pulled out to turn right.

There were no injuries.
