A vehicle fire closed the southbound lanes of Trans-Canada Highway during Wednesday’s morning commute.
The southbound lanes of the highway near West Shore Parkway were closed as emergency crews responded.
DriveBC reported the incident at 7:21 a.m. About half an hour later, Emcon Services, which maintain highways on the south Island, said the highway had been reopened.
