Police are seeking to identify the suspect in an $1,800 theft of two sound systems from a north-end Nanaimo mall.
Const. Gary O’Brien of Nanaimo RCMP said a man was seen on security cameras leaving the London Drugs store in North Town Centre Mall with a sound system on Wednesday about 4 p.m. and returning within the hour for a second theft, also of a sound system.
A still from the footage depicts the suspect as a bearded white man wearing a black hat and jacket.
Police are asking anyone who recognizes the individual to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
