Victoria police have arrested Douglas McPherson after putting out a notice Monday morning that he was wanted on a Canada-wide parole-revocation warrant.
The 64-year-old has a history of bank-robbery convictions and is considered a high risk to reoffend.
Police were called to the 900-block of Pandora Avenue about 1:45 p.m. after an alert citizen spotted McPherson.
He was arrested without incident and will be transferred to the custody of Corrections Canada.
